Boxrucker, Margaret (27 MAY 1967)

A nuptial mass was performed by the Rev. H.L. Crubel, which united Miss Margaret Ann Boxrucker and Jerrold C. Zais in marriage. The wedding was performed at the 11 a.m. mass on Saturday, May 27th, 1967, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Owen. The bride was given in marriage by her father, and the children's choir of the parish furnished the music.

Serving as maid of honor was Miss Carmela Zais, sister of the groom, and bridesmaid was Miss Judy Boxrucker, a cousin of the bride from Stetsonville.

The bride's attendants wore maize sheath formals with lace bodices and crepe skirts with lace Watteau panels. Their headpieces were a matching floral cluster with pouf veils and they carried baskets of daisies.

Attending the groom as best man was Joseph Boxrucker, brother of the bride. Groomsman was George Marquardt of Milwaukee. Ushers were Donald Zais, brother of the groom, and Jerry Boxrucker, the bride's cousin.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the American Legion Hall in Own, with a reception and a dance following.
