Hebeisen, Virginia “Ginger” (Anderson) (7 JUN 1942 - 15 OCT 2016)

Virginia “Ginger” Hebeisen was born June 7, 1942 in Phillips, Wisconsin to Milton and Marion (Ostling) Anderson.

She grew up on a dairy farm south of Prentice, Wisconsin and graduated from Prentice High School. On May 12, 1977 Ginger was united in marriage to Jeff Hebeisen at Zion Lutheran Church in Hopkins, Minnesota.

Together they raised two wonderful children. They made their home in Hopkins where they have lived ever since. Ginger enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, gardening, fishing and her pool. She loved animals of all kinds and particularly loved her Schnauzers. Ginger loved visiting with people and especially spending time with her family, including her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ginger was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Ginger passed away October 15, 2016 at Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, at the age of 74 years, 4 months and 8 days.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by three siblings, Robert Anderson, Clifford Anderson and Dolores Danielson; and brother-in-law, Kenny Carpenter.

She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Jeff; son, Jeffrey Hebeisen; daughter Tanya (Mike) Rand; three grandchildren, Chase (Emma), Conner and Carleigh; four great-grandchildren, Hailee, Maddison, Quinn and Cooper; seven siblings, Jolene Carpenter, Carol (Bill) Takala, Shirley (Keith) Gustafson, Betty (Bob) Weinzathl, Harold (Judy) Anderson, Larry (Jeanie) Anderson, and Marion (Bill) Carstens; sister-in-law, Pat Anderson; brother-in-law, Kenny Danielson; her loving dog, Millie; and by many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the First Lutheran Church in Prentice at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 22, with Pastor Richard Hall officiating.

Interment will be in the Prentice Cemetery in Prentice, followed by a luncheon at the First Lutheran Church in Prentice. Visitation will be at the First Lutheran Church in Prentice starting at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday.
