Jensen, Sena (2 APR 1885 – 27 APR 1967)

Funeral services for Mrs. Sean Jensen, 82, and a pioneer resident of the Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) community, having lived here for 63 years, were conducted at two o'clock Sunday afternoon. Rev. H.W. Luetkehoelter officiated at the services conducted from the Nazareth Lutheran Church, of which she had been a member for many years, with burial being made in the parish cemetery.

Walter Heideman Alfred Frost, Sam Munson, Richard Nielsen, John Isaacs and Thorvald Carlsen served as pallbearers, with Mesdames Walter Heideman, Richard Nielsen and Sam Munson being in charge of floral offerings.

Mrs. Jensen passed away at 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, April 27, 1967, at her home in Withee.

The former Sena Andersen was born April 2, 1885, at Washington Island, near Green Bay. Her marriage to Peter Jensen, who preceded her in death April 27, 1949, took place June 15, 1904, in Chicago.

After their marriage the couple came to the Withee area and farmed in the town of Hixon until 1947. Since then theyhad resided in the village of Withee.

She was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church and the Danish Ladies Aid.

Survivors are a son, Tony Jensen, Withee; a daughter, Mrs. Romilda Paschnerbacher, Crystal Lake, Ill.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
