Sharratt, Charles (29 MAY 1840 – 28 MAR 1919)

Charles Sharratt died on Friday at the home of his son, Ezra, in town of Washburn, aged 78 years, 10 months and 29 days. He was born in England and was married there. Seven children were born to them, all of whom survive their parents, their mother having passed away fourteen years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Sharratt came to Clark County 36 years ago, settling at Fond du Lac. They lived there until 1886 when they moved to Minnesota. Mr. Sharratt came here last May to make his home with his son, Ezra. He was a fine old gentleman of many exceptional qualities. He is survived by the following children, James, Frank, Will, Walter, John Ezra, Albert, and Mrs. Nellie Reichert. The remains were taken to Lynn, Minneapolis, Monday for burial yesterday.
