Miss Karen Heuchtkoetter became the bride of Phillip Lyndahl Saturday afternoon, October 23, 1966 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Chippewa Falls, w ith Fr. Brockman and Rev. John Wreford of the First Methodist Church, Chippewa Falls, performing the ceremony.

The bride, daughter of Johann Heuchtkoetter, Fulda, Germany, was given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Frank Hiestand, Kalamazoo, Michigan.

For her wedding the bride wore a peau de soie satin gown featuring French lace, which she brought from Germany. Wearing a pearled headpiece to secure her French veiling, the bride carried a bouquet of full mums.

Mrs. Frank Hiestand, Kalamazoo, Michigan, attended her sister as matron of honor, and Mrs. Robert Granum, Holmen, sister of the bridegroom, was bridesmaid. They wore hunter's green chiffon velvet empire waist gowns fashioned with bridal satin floor length skirts in olive green.

The bridegroom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Lyndahl, Pine Harbor Dr., rte. 5, Chippewa Falls, was attended by Robert Granum, Holmen, best man, and Daniel Poppe, Baldwin, groomsman. Jon Goulet and David Charland, Chippewa Falls, escorted the guests to their seats.

A reception was held in honor of the newlyweds in the church parlors. Mr. and Mrs. Lyndahl will be at home at 206 1/2 E. Grand Avenue, Chippewa Falls.

Phillip Lyndahl is a graduate of Owen-Withee High School and several months ago was discharged from the service, after serving overseas in the European theatre.
