Schoenherr, Adeline "Addie" (3 OCT 1912 – 31 OCT 1996)

Neillsville – Adeline "Addie" Schoenherr, 75, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), died October 31, 1996 at St. Joseph's Hospice Care Unit in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. The Rev. Jerry Lamb will officiated. Eileen Zank will be the organist and Todd Wall will be the soloist.

Burial will be at the Neillsville City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Spiegel, Gale Minsaas, Kenneth Goetz, Eugene Spiegel, Brad Goetz and Jeremy Knoop.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 1 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.

She was born October 3, 1921 in the town of Pine Valley on the home farm, to Frank Robert Albert Knoop and Alice Gertrude Korth. She attended Hillside School through the seventh grade and then St. John's Lutheran School for the eighth grade. She attended and graduated from Neillsville High School in 1939. She attended Winona Business College following graduation.

She married Theodore Frederick Schoenherr on October 21, 1951.

She worked part-time at the Clark County Treasurer's office and then worked full-time at First National Bank. She worked at Behlke Chevrolet Garage and at Filitz Tax Office until she began work at the Clark County Social Services Department on August 16, 1976. She was a computer operator. She retired on July 16, 1992.

She was a member of the Neillsville Women's Bowling Association and was secretary of the Association and League for 34 years. She was inducted into the Neillsville Women's Bowling Hall of Fame in 1994.

She was at home until her illness. She was admitted to the Hospice Unit on October 21 of this year. She will be sadly missed by all.

She is survived by three sons, Ronald Schoenherr of Reno, Nevada; Marvin Schoenherr of Granton, and Scott (Rachele) Schoenherr of Newkirk, Oklahoma.; five daughters, Kathleen Schoenherr of Madison; Jeanette (Tim( Digoski of Chili; Jacalyn Dave) Bohlinger of Strum; Marilyn (Moyo) Ikuyiga of Houston, Texas, and Shirley (Dan) Jacoby of Woodruf; three brothers, Donald (Mary) Knoop of Plo, Missouri; Robert (Rosie) Knoop of Neillsville, and Ervin (Arlys) Knoop of Neillsvill; three sisters, Florence (Robert) Spiegel of Granton' Louis (Gale) Minsaas of Meeker, Wyoming, and Jean (Kenneth) Goetz of Neillsville; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband on March 22, 1992.

Gesche Funeral Home is serving Addie's family.
