Miss Stella Stevens was pleasantly surprised at the home of her daughter-in-law and son, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Stevens, for her 90th birthday last Sunday afternoon. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends were also present.

A beautiful birthday cake was made by her two granddaughters and another decorated cake was made by a niece of Mrs. Stevens.

A beautiful corsage was presented to Mrs. Stevens by her great-grandchildren. Mrs. Stevens received gifts and a purse of money.

A pink and blue shower was held on April 28th for Judy Lentz at the home of Mrs. Jules Levy.

Mrs. Jules Levy and Mrs. William Bergschneider were the hostesses.

She received many fine gifts.

Mrs. Leonard Noeldner attended the Mother-Daughter banquet at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wausau on Thursday evening. She was the guests of her daughter, Mrs. Arlyn Turnquist. She also visited with Mrs. Jim Ursin and Mrs. Burt Tinet.

Weekend visitors at the Leonard Noeldner and Peter Nysted homes during the past weekend were: Mr. and Mrs. Norm Halfen and son of Waupaca, Mr. and Mrs. Arlyn Turnquist and children, Wausau, and Rudy Pazneski and Peter Noeldner, students at Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. John Grutzik, City Point, were Wednesday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Bentzler.

Mrs. Clara White has returned from spending the weekend visiting with Mrs. Maude Volk, Wisconsin Dells.

Mr. and Mrs. La Monte Johnston, and family, Spring Green, spent the weekend visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Johnson and Mrs. Celia Bremer.

Mrs. Leonard Denk spent Thursday and Friday visiting with Ken Denk in Tomah, and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Hutchinson and family, Lancaster.

Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reno Herdrich were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Dobbe. In the afternoon the foursome attended the Senior Citizens affair at Greenwood.

Sgt. David Larson, son of Mr. and Mr.s David Larson Sr., is spending a 32-day special leave at the home of his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. George Betnzler spent Thursday to Saturday visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bentzler, Tigerton.

Mr. Arthur P. Schmidt and Miss Juanita Koellner, both of Kenosha, were married there Saturday in Mt. Zion Lutheran Church. Those who attended from here were Mr. and Mrs. Hoard Olsen, Mrss. Duane Olson, Owen, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard H. Braun of Greenwood.

Arthur P. Schmidt is the grandson of Blanche Schmidt.

Returning home Sunday evening were the Harold Schmidt family of Argyle and they also visited Sunday at the Luepke home.

Mr. and Mrs. James Heidewald and family of Chicago were visitors at the Ted Welsh and Kate Vogel home of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. James Welsh of Marshfield last week.
