Mr. and Mrs. Duane Pachal and children had a buffet dinner in honor of the First Communion and Confirmation of their first son, James, at their home on Sunday, May 2, 1971. Guests included grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Pachal, and Mr. and Mrs. Julius Ehlert, and his uncle Rueben, all of Loyal, and his Godparents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kurz and children. James' gifts included money and a savings bond.
