Zielinski, Galen Todd (14 JAN 1967 - 7 AUG 2016)

Galen Todd Zielinski, age 49, of 218 N 2nd Street Abbotsford, passed away at Aspirus Wausau Hospital on August 7, 2016.

A private family memorial service will take place at a later date.

Galen was born at McCleary, Washington, on January 14, 1967, to Lester Robert and Viola Gertrude (Smith) Zielinski.

He is a 1985 graduate of Medford High School.

Galen married Melanie (Epson) Zielinski on April 10, 1987, and she survives.

After high school Galen worked as a trucker for various companies. He loved being outdoors, going to flea markets, spending time with his family and friends, and working on cars.

He is survived by his wife Melanie, Abbotsford; mother, Viola; children Brandon (Kim) Zielinski, Antigo; Cassandra (Sam Hoffman), Merrill; Galen (Blaine) Zielinski Jr., Medford; and his two dogs Beau Beau, a teddy bear, and Daisey Mae, a dachshund.

Galen is also survived by his grandchildren, Mitchell, Kylee, Grayson; siblings Ken (Diane) Zielinski; Plover, Tammie Zielinski, Abbotsford; Michael (Mary Jo) Zielinski, Kronenwetter; Jeanine (Donald Jr.) Bartelt, Medford; Darla (Jeff) Piller, Medford; Leslie Marquard, Dorchester; 18 nieces and nephews; 23 great nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his father, Lester Robert Zielinski.

In lieu of flower, contributions may be given to the family for a future designation.
