Edblom, Carol (Baker) (1 NOV 1940 - 21 JUL 2016)
Carol Edblom, 75, of Lubin, passed away July 21, 2016, at her home surrounded by her family.
At her request, there will be no public services.
Carol was born November 1, 1940, in Weyerhaeuser, WI to the late Arthur and Ada Baker.
She graduated from Tony High School in 1959. Carol was united in marriage to Thomas Sanderson Sr. and the late Alfred Edblom. They were later divorced.
Carol worked in various factories and farmed in the Colby and Unity area before opening up Carol’s Wedge Inn in Lublin. Carol had a huge heart and she greatly enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and watching her hummingbirds.
Carol is survived by her son, David (Lynsie) Edblom of Dorchester and their children, Lucas, Lauren and Lexus; her daughter Debbra Heuppchen (Gary Beyer) of Cecil, WI, and her children Shelly (Keith) Koopman, Justin (Shannon) Safemaster, Bradley (Mary) Safemaster and Brandon Safemaster. She is further survived by her sisters, Barbara Stein and Gini Baker; her brother Arthur Baker Jr.; seven great- grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Thomas Sanderson Jr.; and a brother, Carl Baker.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jerold Sromek and Barbara Berg for all their care and support they gave to Carol.
