Pascoe, Frances (23 FEB 1895 – 26 MAR 1969)

Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Pascoe, 74, Abbotsford, who was found dead at her home Wednesday, were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the First Presbyterian Church, Abbotsford. The Rev. Charles Glidden conducted the service, during which Mrs. Glidden sang "Abide with Me," with Mrs. Eugene Strathman as accompanist and organist.

The pallbearers for the interment made in the Abbotsford Cemetery were Lowell Dorn, Jack Harrop, Robert Janda, C.J. Kliefort, Milton Lenz and Morris Mantor.

The former Frances Brown was born at Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) February 23, 1895, and received her education there and at the Wisconsin State University, Eau Claire. She taught school until 1932.

She was married to Edward C. Pascoe at Colorado in 1923. They came to Abbotsford in 1932.

After Mr. Pascoe's death in 1966, Mrs. Pascoe lived along. She had not called for her mail for several days and authorities who investigated found her house locked and the body in a chair in the living roo, and that death was due to an apparent heart attack.

Mrs. Pascoe was a member of the Presbyterian Church and of the Abbotsford Women's Club.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Iles (Darlene) Galliger, Phillips; a step-daughter, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Hansen, Chicago; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Hazel) Nollum, Owen, and Mrs. Elsie Kocher, Cadott.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
