Borchardt, Barbara E. (Sann) (18 AUG 1955 - 14 APR 2007)

Barbara E. Borchardt, 51, 15294 State Road 107, Athens died Saturday, April 14, 2007 at her home under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

She was born August 18, 1955 in North Carolina, daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle (Rhyner) Sann. On July 16, 1988 she married Edwin Borchardt at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Berlin. He survives.

Barbara worked as a prep cook at Fazoli’s in Rib Mountain for over seven years and also at the McDonalds in Wausau for several years as well. She enjoyed watching all types of sporting events on the television but most of all she loved watching the Green Bay Packers, NASCAR racing and WWE wrestling.

Survivors besides her husband, Edwin Borchardt, Athens include her brother, Edward (Cindy) Sann, Tennessee, mother and father-in-law, Henry (Marjorie) Borchardt, Athens, one sister-in-law, Barb (John) Zimmer, Athens, two aunts, Doris (Joseph) Zyduck, Schofield and Judy (Dennis) Rhyner, Kronenwetter. She is further survived by nieces and a nephew.

Besides her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by one brother Bruce Sann.

Funeral services will be at Noon Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Avenue, Wausau. The Rev. Joy Nelson-Jeffers will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services all at the Stewart Avenue funeral home.
