The brother of Miss Karen Gertrude Klinke of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), Frank
Klinke, gave her in marriage Saturday, June 9, 1962, to James Ronald Berrett of
Spencer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Verland Berrett of that city.
The bride's mother is Mrs. Edward Klinke of Greenwood, and witnessed her
daughter's wedding before the Rev. Edward Hartung in St. Mary's Catholic Church
at Greenwood at 10 o'clock that morning.
A chapel train white silk organza dress with a shoulder-length veil and crown
headpiece, and a corsage of baby orchids with blue stephanotis on a white prayer
book was chose by Miss Klinke for her wedding.
Three of the bridal aides, Miss Rita A. Klinke, maid of honor, and Mrs. Robert
Worden and Miss Kay Klinke, bridesmaids, came from Greenwood. Miss Patricia
Betts came from Milwaukee to be the other bridesmaid.
They all donned blue sheath dresses of silk organza with overskirts, and pillbox
hats. Their corsages were made up of white tea roses and baby blue carnations on
white prayer books.
Donald Smith of Mondovi, was best man. Groomsmen were Robert Worden, Ralph
Klinke and Charles Vesel, all of Greenwood. Alvin Klinke ushered.
A lunch and reception were held at the parental Klinke home and the wedding
dance took place at the Silver Done Ballroom at Neillsville.
The bride, who attended Mt. Mary College in Milwaukee, has been teaching at S.S.
Peter and Paul Catholic School in that city. The groom, graduating on June 4th
of this year from the University of Wisconsin at Madison, is an engineer with
Minneapolis Honeywell in Los Angeles, California.
After a honeymoon through the western states, the young couple will make their
home in Los Angeles.
