The Rev. Daniel E. Zielske, recently installed pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church
of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) and St. John Lutheran Church of Christie, was
officially received into the North Wisconsin District of the Lutheran Church,
Missouri Synod, during the regular district convention session held in Wausau
two weeks ago. He joined three other recent graduates who have accepted calls in
this area, in signing the constitution before the convening body of 225 pastoral
and lay delegates.
Pastor and Mrs. Zielske arrived in Greenwood July 26. They moved into the
beautifully renovated parsonage, which is located on the church grounds on Eaton
Street.
The congregation held a join installation service for their new Pastor on July
30th, 1961. Officiating Pastor included: The Rev. Otto W. Boettcher, vacancy
pastor, who delivered the sermon; The Rev. F. H. Sprengler of Dorchester, who

An estimated 200 people were present for the service and enjoyed the reception
and luch served afterward by the ladies of both congregations.
