Schultz, Angeline Mae (18 April 1929 - 5 May 2016)

Angeline M. Schultz, 87, of Greenwood died Thursday, May 5, 2016, at her son’s home in Marshfield.

Angeline Mae Davis was born April 18, 1929, in Granton, the daughter of Truman Eldred and Myrtie Mae (Peaslee) Davis. She attended Granton area schools, including Romadka Grade School, and in 1984, she earned her GED. She also took classes through the Marshfield Vocational School in cake decorating and leatherwork.

She was united in marriage to Robert Schultz in April of 1948 in Iowa. They lived in Marshfield until 1966, when they moved to Robert’s home farm in the Globe area.

Angeline was an excellent seamstress and owned her own business, US Draperies. She also made many beautiful quilts. She loved going to plays, especially her favorite, “The Sound of Music.” Angeline was a member of the Christie United Methodist Church in Christie and the Wesley United Methodist Church in Marshfield.

She is survived by her children: Mary Ellen (Frank) Ule of Winter, Kenneth Robert (Barbara Simonson) Schultz of Marshfield and Michael Schultz of Neillsville; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren She also is survive by siblings: Marvin (Mable) Davis of Plato, MO; Patricia (Bernard) Kitzhaber of Greenwood; and Ila Mae Wolk of Nekoosa.

Angeline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; a brother, Warren Davis; a sister, Shirley Davis; and a brother-in-law, William Wolf.

Funeral services for Angeline were held at 11 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Douglas Bjerke officiated. Betty Schultz and Michael Schultz provided music. Interment was in the Marie Louise Chapel Cemetery.

Serving as casketbearers were: Kevin Schultz, Randal Schultz, Crystal Blaha, Patrick Ule, Penny Ule and Cole Ule.
