Formella, Lucella E. (Frank) (1 APR 1913 - 10 JAN 2016)

Lucella E. Formella (Frank), resident of Whispering Pines Assisted Living, Sturgeon Bay, passed away at the age of 102 on Sunday, January 10, under the care of Southern Door Hospice.

A memorial service (celebration of 103rd birthday) will be held Friday, April 1 at Calvary United Methodist Church, West Allis, with Pastor Lizzie Weed officiating.

Burial will take place at Forest Hill Cemetary in Oak Creek, at a later date.

Lucella was born April 1, 1913 in Rib Lake. She graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1930 and lived in the Milwaukee area until moving to Sturgeon Bay in 1996.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ferdinand and Eda Frank; husband, Edward Formella; and siblings, Erma (Fred) Vlach, Isabell (Elwood) Bleck, Leo (Jackie) Frank and Ervin (Peggy) Frank.

Lucella is survived by her sister, Donna (Herb) Sauer; daughter, Lucy (Jerry) Richter; grandchildren, Susan (Joseph) Loesl, Nancy (Michael) Cogan, Gary (Valerie) Richter; and great-grandchildren, Allan Cogan, Rebecca (fiancé Tanner Cole), Collin and Ryan Richter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
