Gathering on Sunday at the home of Mrs. Emma Rottjer, Loyal, were the members of the Noeldner family as follows: Mr. and Mrs. Herman Noeldner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Norbert Noeldner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Noeldner and family, Mr. Leonard Noeldner, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Dux and family, Mr. and Mrs. Verland Dux and family, Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Noeldner and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Pernsteiner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Voss and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Oestriech and family, all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Donald Noeldner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Noeldner and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Johnson and family Greenwood, Mr. and Mrs. Gary Oswald and family, Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Noeldner and family and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Meyer, Unity.

Mr. and Mrs. Milton Bombard returned Sunday from a ten day visit with relatives at Waukesha, Oregon and Grayslake and Rockford, Illinois.

Mrs. Norma Ebert spent New Year’s and the weekend at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. George Steckl of Milwaukee.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert mengel spent Christmas with their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Perkins, Lake Geneva. They also went to see their grandson, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Perkins, and new great-granddaughter at Racine. They spent the weekend visiting Mr. and Mrs. William Mengel and boys, Waukesha, called on Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Malahn and baby girl, Elkhorn, and returned home on Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Bert Mengel spent New Year’s Day with Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Severson and Patricia Spencer.

Kris Knack and Leonard Hansen returned to their studies at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay on Sunday, after spending the holidays at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Milton Knack and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Hansen.

Mr. and Mrs. Alan Meyer and family of Hastings, Minnesota, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thwing of Clintonville, were guests of the Milton Knack family during the holiday season.

Out of town guests attending the funeral of Martha Witt were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Traeder, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Traeder from Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Monroe, Mrs. Agnes Traeder, Mr. Kenneth Traeder from Appleton, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Zuege, Jon and Robert Zuege, from Milwaukee; Richard Zuege from Longmont, Colorado; Mr. and Mrs. David Zuege from West Allis; Mrs. Ernest Collier from Marshfield, Mrs. Amy Hendrickson from Greenwood; Mrs. Ida Shupe from Wausau, Mrs. Henry Olsage from Rothschild; Mrs. Arthur Kuhlman from Schofield; Mr. and Mrs. Julius Keppert of Marshfield; Mr. and mrs. Arnold Poepke, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Mertz and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. James Frauendorfer from Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Greeler from Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. John Steiner from Milwaukee.

Guests on New Year’s Eve of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Meyer were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Rogstad, Mr. and Mrs. Leon Hoeser, Mr. and Mrs. George Zuehlke Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Alex Loos and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Weyer.

Sergeant and Mrs. Michael Prior arrived on Monday from Columbus, Mississippi to spend 10 days visiting with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Prior.

Mr. and Mrs. Neil Oestreich were Saturday evening dinner guests of Mrs. Lillian Woodkey, Spencer.

New Year’s Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Weyer, Unity, were Mr. and Mrs. Verland Dux and family, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Dux and Denny.

Mrs. Oswald Henninger returned Saturday from visiting with the Harold Henninger family, Hartford, and with the Phillip Weller family, Oak Creek.

Mrs. Catherine Bauer spent some time during the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Michael Bauer, Boyceville.
