Kuenne, Jill R. (Wegerer) (28 OCT 1916 - 28 NOV 2010)

Jill R. Kuenne, age 46, of W7080 Center Ave., Medford, passed away on Sunday, November 28 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital, where she was taken earlier by air ambulance following an accident while riding horse.

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 2 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Medford, with Father Gerard Willger & Deacon Joe Stefancin officiating. Pallbearers will be Ty Dubois, Brian Hanson, Craig Kloth, Dan Roiger, Cody Rabska, Ricky Leonhard, Billy Gebert. Interment will be at Medford Evergreen Cemetery II.

Visitation will be at the Hemer Funeral Home 4-8 PM Wednesday, December 1 and also from 9 AM until 10:45 AM on Thursday, Dec. 2.

Jill was born on October 29, 1964 at the township of Greenwood, Taylor Co., WI, to Earl Harry and Darlene Marie (Leischer) Wegerer.

She attended Township of Greenwood elementary schools and was a graduate of Rib Lake High School.

Jill was first married to John Faber on 11 Sep 1982, in Goodrich. They were later divorced. Her second marriage was to Jeffrey Kuenne, on 14 Oct 2000, at the town of Medford, to Jeffrey Kuenne and he survives.

After her education she worked at Tombstone Pizza Corp. in Medford for the past 26 years, where she was employed at the time of her death. She enjoyed horses, snowmobiling, was a lover of all animals, and enjoyed most of all spending time with her family.

She was a member of We Whittlesey Wizzers Snowmobile Club and the Black River Riders Horse Club.

Jill is survived by her in-laws, Marvin & Joanne Kuenne; husband, Jeffrey Kuenne, of the town of Medford; children, 2 daughters-Angie Faber and Amber Faber both of the township of Medford; siblings, Candace (Ed) Bohte of Merrill, Shiela (Dave) Shadrick, Gail (Bob) Dassow, Valerie (Jay) Viergutz, Jeany (Robin) Dassow, Rita (John) Krueger, all of Medford; 5 brothers-Dwight (Sue) Wegerer of Phillips, Orin (Kathy) Wegerer, and Kenneth (Kathy) Wegerer both of Medford, Neil Wegerer of Owen, and Dennis (Lisa) Wegerer of Omro; and a half-sister-Ardis (Jack) Krieg of Monticello, WI.

She is predeceased by her parents, Earl Harry and Darlene Marie (Leischer) Wegerer; nephew-Dustin Dassow.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the family for a future designation.
