Hewett (2 Jan 1919)

Last Week
Mrs. W. Warner was called to Oshkosh Sunday night on account of the death of her son’s wife, Mrs. Bracey.

Mr. and Mrs. George Carskadden returned here Wednesday from North Dakota to live with their daughter, Mrs. Will Dux.

Joe McKimm spent Sunday here with his daughter, Mrs. Geo. Hetzel.

H.B. Parker and Harry Moffatt were visitors at Lon Cook’s Monday.

G. Bruny is home from his visit in Monroe.

Our teacher, Miss Cosmosky, and Miss Clara Durst, were out doing Red Cross work one day last week. We haven’t heard how well they did yet.

Paul Albrecht has received his discharge and is home from Camp Grant.

Mrs. Lon Cook’s mother is still quite sick.
