Bakke, Louise (29 JUL 1889 – 2 MAR 1969)

Mrs. Albert (Louise) Bakke, 79, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), died Sunday morning, March 2, 1969, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. The body will lie in state at the Hoeper & Kraut Funeral Home, Owen, until noon Thursday, when it will be taken to St. Paul’s American Lutheran Church, Curtiss. The Rev. Roger Tellock will conduct the services there at 2 p.m. and interment will be made in the parish cemetery.

The former Louise Larson was born at Abbotsford July 29, 1889, and received her education in Abbotsford schools. She was married September 14, 1928 to Albert Bakke at Curtiss.

She was a member of the American Lutheran Church Women.

Surviving her are her husband and four step-children, Mrs. Lawrence (Edna) Klein, Stevens Point; Arnold Bakke of Curtiss; Norman Bakke, Waukegan, Ill., and Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Peterson, Sebastopol, California.

Other survivors are five sisters: Mrs. Arthur (Alma) Thompson, Curtiss; Mrs. Agnes Hansen, Green Bay; Miss Emma Larson and Miss Mabel Larson, Menasha, Mrs. Kenneth W. (Helen) Kramer, Belleville, and two brothers, Oscar Larson, Woodburn, Ore., and Malcolm Larson, Weyauwega.

One sister and one brother preceded her in death.
