Mrs. Donald Armstrong and Mrs. Tony Armstrong went to Madison Tuesday of last week for the Thanksgiving holiday. They were with Mr. and Mrs. Ruce Armstrong and family, returning here on Sunday.

Gregory Kleinstick of Gary, Ind., came for the deer hunting season and hunted with the Frank Zondlo party at Rib Lake. He came to the home of his uncle, Clarence Chris, Sunday, and stayed until Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Danny Hamel and family of rural Athens also visited at the Chris home Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Ed Stock and Mrs. Adeline Anderson were Thanksgiving day guests at the Ray Anderson home. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Shulta and family of Schofield were also guests there. Miss Paula Anderson, who is attending Lakeshore Technical Institute at Sheboygan, came Tuesday and was at the home of her parents until Sunday. Miss Anderson is studying there to be a medical assistant.

Carl Apfelbeck, rural Colby, was a Thanksgiving day guest at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Chris and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kramer got his aunt, Miss Lelah Le Claire, at Cornell Wednesday and took her back on Sunday. Other guests at the Kramer home on Thanksgiving were his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hopperdietzel and family.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Schoenborn and daughter, Janet, of Kiel, came Sunday and were dinner guests at the home of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Suttner.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Witt Jr. and family of Owen, and Kenneth Leonhard of Wausau were at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Leonhard on Thanksgiving.

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Johnson and three children of Medford were Thanksgiving day guests at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hodd.

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hopperdietzel attended the funeral of his sister, Mrs. Lester Baneck at Nekoosa Saturday. Mrs. Baneck died Thanksgiving morning at the age of 47.

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Paradies and family of Waterford came Tuesday evening to spend the Thanksgiving weekend at the home of her mother, Mrs. Alma Bedroske, and at the howard Bedroske home, rural Dorchester.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Voigtlander of Champaign, Ill. came Wednesday and stayed until Friday, with his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Voigtlander. They were all Thanksgiving Day guests at the Clarence Syring home, Edgar. Mrs. Syring is the former Ellen Voigtlander.

Miss Diana Kramer and Miss Jerene Olson of Nekoosa spent the Thanksgiving weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Kramer.

Rick Lapp, who attends the Wis. State University, Stevens Point, was at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nomran Olsen, over the Thanksgiving vacation.

Miss Vicki Gierl, who attends Stout State University, Menomonie, and Paul Klinkhammer, a student at the University at Madison, were home for the Thanksgiving recess. On Thanksgiving Day, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Klinkhammer, Paul and Vicki, and another daughter, Mrs. John Lindberg and children, were guests at the Harold Nielsen home, Oshkosh. Mrs. Nielsen is the former Emily Klinkhammer.

Mrs. George Vetter came home from St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, Tuesday afternoon of last week.

Miss Cathy Roth, who attends Wis. State University at La Crosse, spent the Thanksgiving vacation at the home of her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Roland Roth. The road conditions cause the return trip delayed until Monday morning.

Mrs. Elizabeth Voigtlander had as dinner guests Sunday at her home, her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Voigtlander of Medford and Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Awe and son Henry of Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Galen Steen and family were at the family Thanksgiving gathering at the Ray Steen home, Medford.

The Misses Jessie and Blanche Merrill were Thanksgiving guests at the homeof their nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Koepl, and family, Chippewa Falls. They went on Wednesday and returned Friday evening.
