Danielewicz, Debra Lynn (11 October 1965 - 13 December 2015)
Debra L. Danielewicz, age 50, of Wausau, formerly of Thorp, passed away at
Aspirus Wausau Hospital on Sunday, December 13, 2015. Funeral services were held
at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015, at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic
Church in Thorp. Rev. Janusz Kowalski officiated and burial followed in St.
Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was held at Thorp Funeral Home on
Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and again at the church on
Friday from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Debra Lynn Danielewicz was born on October 11, 1965, in Chippewa Falls, WI, to
Zigmund J. and Manetta A. (Haas) Danielewicz. She was educated at Thorp area
schools, graduating from Thorp High School in 1984. After completing her
education, Debra worked as a babysitter for her sister, Suzanne, before starting
work at Mill’s Fleet Farm in Wausau. During her 30 year career at Fleet Farm,
she worked in several different areas, ultimately working her way up to a
Department Head. In addition to her work at Fleet Farm, she was also a caregiver
to her mother for many years.
In her spare time, Debra enjoyed watching old movies, watching the Green Bay
Packers, and occasional trip to the casino, but especially loved spending time
with her nieces, nephews, and family.
She will be dearly missed by three brothers: Richard Danielewicz of Schofield,
WI, Dale (Celine) Danielewicz of Wausau, Donald (Pam) Danielewicz of Thorp;
three sisters: Suzanne (Daniel) Somsen of New Richmond, WI, Melissa (Randall)
Maltbey of Janesville, WI, Janet (Charles) Schulz of Greenville, WI; many
nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Debra was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Gregory and Dennis
Danielewicz; one sister-in-law, Diane Danielewicz; one nephew, Chad Danielewicz;
and one niece, Nichole Danielewicz.
