Tripp, Ethel Maud (10 JUL 1887 – 26 OCT 1957)

Funeral services for Ethel Maud Trip, 7529 N. Chicago Ave., were held at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the St. John's Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tripp, who died Saturday, Oct. 26, 1957 at Emmanuel Hospital, was born in Greenwood (Clark Co.), Wis. July 10, 1887. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Hogue. She was educated in Wisconsin and taught there and in Troutdale, Oregon City and Salem.

Surviving are the widower, Edward O. Tripp, a daughter, Maxine M. Tripp, four sisters, Mrs. William (Pearl) Simerson, Chicago; Mrs. Owen (Estelle) O'Connor, Rathdrum, Idaho; Dellamae Hogue, Mrs. John (Nellie) Buhite, and Oscar F. Hogue, Portland, Oregon.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Harry, William and Ray.

Entombment was in Rose City Garden Mausoleum, Portland, Oregon.
