Drinkwine, Gilferd (? – 13 MAY 1957)

Gilferd Delos Drinkwine, son of the late John and Leona Loyad Drinkwine, was born in the Town of Warner (Clark Co., Wis.). The family moved from here to Donald, Owen and Polly, Wis., where he received most of his education. Later the family returned to their farm 8 1.2 miles northwest of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.).

On July 29, 1944 hew as married to Eva Joan Brasbois at Pontiac, Mich. To this union were born Gilferd John, Eddie Delos, Leonay May, Frederick James, Joseph Thomas, Leo George and Bonnie Lorraine, all at home.

Mr. Drinkwine, who has been ill with cancer, passed away at Pontiac, Mich., on Monday, May 13, 1957.

Funeral services were held at a Funeral Parlor there on Friday, May 17. Burial was made in Pontiac, Mich.

He is survived by his wife and all named children; three sisters, Mrs. May Clendening, Greenwood; Mrs. Frank (Betty) Biskvich and Mrs. Lyle (Addie) Hubble, both of Pontiac; three brothers, Gerald, Joseph and Loren, all of Pontiac.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1932, his mother in 1944, and a daughter, Judith.
