Kalsow, C. W. (29 September 1881 - 26 April1974)

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from Immanuel Lutheran Church, Globe, with the Rev. Ralph O. Stuebs, pastor and the Rev. Gerhardt Lambrecht, Marshfield, officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.

Mr. Kalsow, the son of William and Augusta (Klueckmann) Kalsow, was born September 29, 1881, in the Town of Weston and was educated in schools there. He was confirmed at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran School in Neillsville. His marriage to the former Laura Klueckmann took place July 29, 1921, in Mile City, Mt.

Mr. Kalsow farmed during his lifetime and also did carpenter work. A member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, he retired in 1962 and he and his wife moved to Neillsville.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, are two sisters: Mrs. Martha Hoffmann and Mrs. Theresa Klauer of Neillsville; and a brother, Edward Kalsow of Granton.

Pallbearers were Roland Kalsow, William Hoffmann, Gerhardt Scheel, Paul Klauer, Otto Sternitzky and Donald Kalsow.

Organist Mrs. David Hoppa accompanied congregational singing.
