Franz, Theodore H. (12 June 1905 - 14 March 1974)

With a number of Clark County residents present, funeral services were held March 17 in Hillsboro, Ore., for Theodore H. Franz, 68, former Greenwood resident, who died March 14. Death was attributed to a heart condition.

Mr. Franz was born in Greenwood June 12, 1905. He spent his early life there and received his education in the Greenwood schools. As a young man he went to Montana, where he was married to the former Jane Halstenhoff. They later made their home in Goldendale, Wash., before moving to Oregon in 1933, and had lived in Aloha, Ore., since 1953.

Mr. Franz was a retired farmer and nurseryman, and had been employed part time at the Daybreak Nursery at Cornelius, Ore.

Surviving are: his wife; three brothers: Oscar Franz of Land O’ Lakes, Edwin of North Dakota and Leondo Franz of Wisconsin Rapids; and five sisters: Mrs. Harvey (Martha) Schwarze, Mrs. Henry (Minnie) Laube and Mrs. Selma Churkey, all of Owen; and Mrs. Harold (Arvilla) Horn and Mrs. Mike (Meta) Bolf, both of Greenwood.
