Granton (28 February 1974)

The Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church is to meet Wednesday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at the church. Mrs. Carl Harlin and Mrs. Armin Moh will be the hostesses.

Mr and Mrs. Lyle Fero visited Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Trimberger.

Sunday visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hillert were their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Hillert and son Brian of Tomah and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Worchel of Spencer.

Royal Neighbors Fidelity Camp No. 6375 is to meet this (Thursday) evening with Mrs. Douglas Crandall.

Those present Sunday at the Lucien Moh home in observance of Mrs. Moh’s birthday were Mrs. Mabel Doehr of Marshfield, Mrs. Dale Bender of Neillsville, Randy Rose and Sally and Mitzi Moh.

Dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Lehmann were Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Jahr and daughter, Marian of Marshfield.

The potluck dinner at the Granton United Methodist Church Sunday welcoming the Rev. and Mrs. William Noble and family was well-attended. Mrs. Virginia Richmond was in charge of a program which followed the meal.

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wegner and daughter of Appleton visited over the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Wegner and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Schlinsog.

New York Homemakers are to meet this (Thursday) evening with Mrs. Leland Reich.

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League of Zion Lutheran Church is to meet this (Thursday) evening. The re-decorating of the parsonage has been nearly completed, and the women will tour the building.
