Radue, August Frederick (13 FEB 1859 – 8 Nov 1918)

August Frederick Radue died Friday, Nov. 8, at a sanitarium in Wausau, Wis. He was born Feb. 13, 1859, at Pommern, Germany. In 1861 he came with his parents to Luxemburg, Kewaunee County, Wis., where he grew to manhood. In 1886 he was united in marriage to Matilda Gauge at Luxemburg, where they made their home for many years. To them were born five children, Matilda, August, Elsie, Frieda and Herbert. In 1913 his wife died and then Mr. Radue and children moved to Neillsville, residing here two years. From here they moved to Stratford, where he has lived with the two youngest children since. He leaves to mourn his death August, Frieda and Herbert Radue of Stratford. Also his aged father and one brother, who live near Luxemburg. The funeral took place from Eberhardt’s Undertaking Rooms last Monday. The body was laid to rest in the Neillsville Cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Diemer of Stratford.

The relatives wish to express their appreciation for the help and sympathy extended to them in their time of sorrow.
