Chili (7 Nov 1918)

Earl Frasier went to Neillsville to be examined for U.S. service Saturday.

George Allen was a Marshfield visitor Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Bresseman, Mrs. Kampin, Anita Kampin and Ella Buschour, Mrs. A. Degener and Mrs. Frasier are sick with influenza.

Mrs. Chas. Ferrill spent Sunday with her sister in Heathville.

Mable Dow is sick with Diphtheria. The family is quarantined.

Mrs. Minnie Prust is visiting her daughter, Mrs. Anton Schuster, at Stratford.

Word has been received here that Jay Waterman is in a base hospital at Camp Sheldon, Miss., sick with Spanish influenza.

Tom Gibson drove to Marshfield Thursday.

Gladys Henning, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Henning, died Saturday evening of influenza. Mrs. Henning and the two boys, Curtiss and Maynard, are sick with the same disease. The family has the sympathy of the entire community.

Herbert McNaul is moving his family into the Puschick house one mile west of Chili.
