Petrusczak, Frank (15 June 1926 - 21 August 2015)

Frank Petrusczak, age 89, of Lublin, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2015, at his nephew’s (William H. Petrusczak) home. Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, at Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Lublin. Rev. Thaddeus Wojcik officiated and burial followed in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: William H. Petrusczak, William S. Petrusczak, Steve Petrusczak, Paul Petrusczak, Mike Prelewicz and Matt O’Mura. Visitation was held at the church, on Wednesday, from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.

Frank Petrusczak was born on June 15, 1926, in Lublin, WI, to Paul and Eva (Hryn) Petrusczak. He was raised on the family farm and received his education at Forest lake State Graded School (Diamond Lake School). Frank farmed his entire life on the family farm until his retirement in 1972. While farming, Frank also did carpentry projects for his friends and neighbors.

He had many interests, but especially enjoyed playing pinochle, playing pool, fishing and deer hunting in his younger years, and his favorite pastime was playing Yahtzee.

He was a member of the Holy Assumption Orthodox Church in Lublin.

Frank is survived by six nephews: James Petrusczak, Andy Petrusczak, Bill (Donna) Petrusczak, Steve Petrusczak, Mike Prelewicz and Ken Petrusczak; two nieces: Liz O’Mura and Carolyn Novak; and one sister-in-law, Gloria Hubbard; other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; eight brothers: John, Mike, William, Matt, Peter, Steve, George, and Nick Petrusczak; and one sister: Ann Petrusczak.
