Westphal, Mr./Mrs. Vernon (Silver – 16 OCT 1968)

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Westphal of Abbotsford celebrated their silver wedding anniversary Friday evening at the Trianon Ballroom, Marathon.

About 150 guests from Medford, Stetsonville, Milan, Abbotsford, Colby, Stratford, Alma Center and Neillsville attended the celebration.

The former Olivia Rueden and Vernon Westphal were married in Milan Oct. 16, 1943. They lived all of their married life at Abbotsford, where Mr. Westphal is engaged in farming and trucking.

The Westphals have two daughters, Mrs. Walter Klimpke of Athens and Miss Beverly Westphal of Abbotsford, a beauty operator, employed at the Vogue Beauty Shop, Marshfield.

They also have three grandchildren.
