Mr. and Mrs. Joe Heinz of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., were guests last week of Donald Kraut.

Miss Jeanne Schuette spent the weekend at the home of her parents. She was accompanied by two girlfriends, who are students at the Jefferson School of Art, La Crosse. They are Mary and Joyce De Witt of Iowa.

Donald Kraut, Lester Krueger and Lyle Johnson attended the football game at Green Bay Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Long returned home Sunday after visiting the past week with relatives in Two Rivers and Manitowoc.

The afternoon and evening circles of St. Paul's ALCW met at the parish hall Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 8 p.m. The following officers were elected: Mrs. Rueben Hill, President; Mrs. Robert Weideman, secretary; Mrs. Harold House, vice president; Mrs. John Strassburger, secretary; Mrs. Guy Dunow, secretary of education, and Mrs. Emery Peissig, treasurer.

Mrs. Mary Fahrenbach, Mrs. Marge Wredmond, Mrs. Orville Lieders and Miss Deloris Lieders attended a golden wedding celebration at St. Paul's Luther Church Sunday, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Jack Smith, formerly of Curtiss, and relatives of Mrs. Mary Fahrenbach.

Mrs. Carla Lien and Miss Eda Ostenson spent Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Ostenson Jr. and family at Bloomer.

Mr. and Ms. Harvey Witt Sr. were Sunday guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lebeck, Marshfield.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Tonn and daughter Amy, Escanaba, Mich., spent the past weekend visiting at the home of their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Ann Tonn.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Matthias, Ashland, and their daughter, Mrs. Dave Harris of San Jose, Calif., spent Sunday at the home of Mrs. F.H. Matthias.

Mrs. George Lindau has returned home from Aberdeen, Wash., where she visited her daughter for the past two weeks.
