The Unity Circle of the Women Society of Christian Service, Colby, will meet Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Calvin Cook at 8 o'clock.

Mr. and Mrs. Roy Justman left Friday morning for Rockford, Ill., where they visited the Allan Justman and Robert Stormont homes.

Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer, accompanied by Mrs. Bernard Mabbott, were Wednesday dinner and supper guests at the Howard Crossgrove home. Other guests were Mr. and Mrs. S.A. Cook of Medford.

Carl Yahr of West Bend was a dinner guests Wednesday at the home of Miss Anne Yahr and Mrs. Minnie Cook.

Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Bechler and Miss Louellyn Loughead of Cedar Rapids, Ia., spent the Labor Day weekend at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Loughead and at the Harold Bechler home, Spencer.

Mrs. Esther Olson returned home Tuesday after visiting three weeks at the Steinke and Dickie homes in Wis. Rapids.

Mrs. Edith Schjoneman returned home Sunday after visiting a couple of weeks at the Robert Kester home in Wis. Rapids.

Mrs. Steve Luther of Abbotsford and Walter Arends of Colby visited Sunday at the Joe Olson home.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Francen spent Friday in Neillsville where they visited relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. B.W. Mabbott, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Domer, Mr. and Mrs. Russell Andrews of Spencer, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Crossgrove of Colby spent Monday at the S.A. Cook home, Medford.

Attorney and Mrs. Charles Schaller and family of Neenah visited Saturday at the Herman Francen home.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Olson of Palmyra were Sunday guests at the Joe Olson home.

Mrs. Fred Ewald, Ed Mattson and Mr. and Mrs. Frank Persyn of Detroit, Mich., are visiting at the Emil Johnson home. They were called here by the death of Glen Kilty and Albert Mattson.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Johnson left Friday morning to visit at the Floyd Johnson home in Milwaukee. They returned home Sunday.

Mrs. Gust Carlson entered St. Joseph's Hospital on Saturday, where she is a medical patient.

Pastor and Mrs. Norman Ryding and family of Houghton, Mich., were Sunday and Monday guests at the home of Pastor and Mrs. Robert Sutherland.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Johnson have sold their farm to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tidd of Crete, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Tidd have a son and daughter, and his grandmother will be making her home with them. Mr. and Mrs. Johnson have rented the apartment of Mrs. George Cook, until their home is built in Unity.

Stewart Salter and Oscar Carlson attended the Minnesota State Fair on Thursday.

Earl Salter returned home Tuesday from West Bend, where he had visited relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Salter and son of Appleton were Labor Day weekend visitors at the Stewart Salter home, and at the Eugene Martin home, Riplinger.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Colby of Milwaukee were Labor Day weekend guests at the William Domer home in Riplinger.

Mr. and Mrs. Gib Wiedenhoeft and Mrs. Albert Wiedenhoeft spent Sunday at Cornucopia, where they did some fishing in Lake Superior. On Monday they visited at the Melvin Guenther cottage at Glidden.

Mr. and Mrs. Nyole Creed and Mrs. Andrew Maatta of Ogema attended the funeral of their aunt and sister in Wakefield, Mich., on Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Fischer spent the weekend at the Walter Fischer home.

Mr. and Mrs. James Mews and sons of Milwaukee arrived Thursday evening at the Ed Mews home. They also visited at the Antone Korntved home. They returned home on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Eino Maki of Maple were Sunday visitors at the Nyole Creed home.

Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Claussen and family of Mitchell, S.D. spent the Labor Day weekend at the William Schultz home.
