They wore matching pink floor length dresses of chiffon over taffeta with flowing trains and matching bow headpieces. They carried bouquets of white roses and pink carnations with pink velvet streamers.

David Michlig of Abbotsford served as his nephew's best man, and Allan Amacher of Abbotsford and Jerry Michlig of Dorchester, both brothers of the couple, were groomsmen.

The bride's brother, Lloyd Amacher of Marshfield, and the groom's uncle, Halarian Michlig of Abbotsford, performed the ushering duties.

A reception and a 4:30 p.m. supper were held at the Dorchester fire hall following the ceremony. An evening reception, beginning at 8 p.m. was also held at the fire hall.
