Terrence P. Hoffman, age 69, of 3241 Highway 73 South, Wisconsin Rapids, WI
passed away Thursday, April 10, 2014 at the House of the Dove, Marshfield, WI.
Memorial Services are 11:00 AM Sunday, April 13, 2014 at Ritchay Funeral Home in
Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Dave Baker will officiate. The family will greet relatives
and friends at Ritchay Funeral Home on Sunday from 10:00-11:00 AM. Burial at a
later date at Pioneer Cemetery.
Terrence was born January 3, 1945 in Medford, WI to Conrad and Anita (Gebert)
Hoffman. He married Georgia Schneider on December 2, 1967 in Wisconsin Rapids,
WI.
Terrence was employed at Domtar for 40 years retiring in June 2008.Terrence
served in the U.S. Army from August 1965 until June 1967. He served as constable
for the Town of Saratoga, supervisor for the Town of Saratoga and was a member
of the zoning commission for the Town of Saratoga. Terrence was a member of
Local 59, serving as their President and Vice President. Terrence was an avid
Green Bay Packers fan.
Terrence is survived by his wife, Georgia; son, Troy Hoffman of Menominee, MI;
three daughters, Tami (Rick) Fritsche of Stevens Point, WI, Heather (Ed) Flaig
of Rudolph, WI and Hollie (Matt) Turner of Newmarket, UK; six grandchildren,
Courtney Fritsche, Caleb Fritsche, Alex Flaig, Nick Flaig, Adam Flaig and Macie
Hoffman; stepfather, Merlyn Maguire of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; one brother, Jack
(Judy) Hoffman of Wisconsin Rapids, WI and four sisters, Barb Grimm of Wisconsin
Rapids, WI, Sue (Bill) Livernash of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Mary (Bill) Cummings
of Bancroft, WI and Julie (Warren) Staszak of Ringle, WI.
Terrence was preceded in death by his father, Conrad Hoffman; mother, Anita
Gebert Hoffman Maguire, sister, Kathy Gaupp and granddaughter, Jordan Fritsche.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be given to UW Cancer Center Riverview,
Ministry Home Care Hospice or to the House of the Dove."
