Rothamer, Chad R. (2 JUN 1986 - 29 JUL 2015)

Chad R. Rothamer, 29, of Linden, Wisconsin died Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family and under the care of Upland Hills Hospice.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 3, 2015 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford, with Deacon Joseph Stefancin, officiating. Visitation will be at 11:00 A.M. until time of services at 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 3, 2015 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford.

Chad was born June 2, 1986 in Medford. He attended Medford Area Schools and was a 2004 Graduate of Medford Area Senior High School. He was working on his Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Criminology at UW-Platteville.

After high school, Chad moved to Platteville where he attended college for Forensic Criminology. Every year he would join his cousins for the family downhill skiing trip in Powderhorn and Whitecap in the U.P. He was an avid musician who played the trumpet in high school and taught himself how to play the guitar and drums. Chad enjoyed cooking, gardening, he loved spending time with his family and friends and he was a devoted father to his 3 children.

Survivors include his significant other, Kellen Paynter of Linden; his children Braelyn, Jordence and Bronx Rothamer of Linden; parents Ryan (Special friend Pam Nelson) Rothamer & Lisa (Special friend John Tom) Motte all of Medford; brother and sister Shauna & Chelsea Rothamer of Medford; grandparents Rita “Mammer” Motte of Dorchester, Gene & Shirle Rothamer of Medford.

He is predeceased by his grandfather, James “Slip” Motte.
