Molle, Herman (15 SEP 1893 – 18 JUL 1968)

Funeral services were held at the Trinity Lutheran Church at Unity Sunday, July 21, for Herman Carl Molle, 74, of Unity.

Mr. Molle died at 6:15 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield.

Rev. Luetkehoelter of Withee officiated at the 2 p.m. services and burial was made in the town of Beaver Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Orin Toltzman, Ronald Schultz, Melvin Duvall, Merlin Benler, Siegrid Krasselt and Sherwood Plath.

During the services, the men's choir sang "Face to Face" and "Have Thine Own Way Lord." Myrl Messer was the organist.

The Lulloff Funeral Home of Colby handled the arrangements.

Herman Molle was born in the town of Unity (Clark Co., Wis.) Sept. 15, 1893, and received his education in the Unity schools.

He married Lela Hoops June 7, 1922, in the Spencer Trinity Lutheran Church, and they farmed in the town of Unity until his retirement in 1949, when they moved into Unity.

He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and also served as a board member.

Herman Molle is survived by his wife, three children, Mrs. Emanuel (Berdine) Zimmerman of Unity, Mrs. Eugene (Darlene) Prien of Loyal, Mrs. Harold (Juanita) Boyer of Unity, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Four sisters also survive: Mrs. Leo )Ella) Duvall of Unity, Mrs. Leona Toltzman of Spencer, Mrs. Otto (Ruth) Schilt(?) of Spencer, and Mrs. Hugh (Irene) Darton of Loyal.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.
