Fisher, Clarence (4 NOV 1914 – 19 JUN 1968)

Clarence Fisher, 53, proprietor of the Ace Hardware here, passed away at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital, Hayward, of a heart attack on Wednesday, June 19th, 1968.

Clarence was born Nov. 4, 1914 at Cazenovia, Wis. He was united in marriage to Beth Pagel on July 5, 1940, at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

Funeral services were held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Thorp, on Saturday, June 22nd. Rev. Francis Brockman officiated at the ten a.m. service, with burial being made in the St. Bernard's Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Shirley Rusch, Earl Sabrowsky, Eugene Wilhelm, Roy Vandeberg, Robert Broeren, Armon Schmidt and Ed Schmidt.

Surviving are his wife, Beth; his mother, Mrs. Cora Fisher; one son, William, at home; six daughters, (Nancy) Mrs. Ronald Haas, Beloit, (Carol) Mrs. Allen Bower, Big Ben, Kathleen of Minneapolis, Mary Beth, Susan and Laurie Jo, at home; two brothers, Raleigh of Wausau, Kendall Fisher of Loganville; and one sister, Mrs. Jack DuVoy of Walworth.
