South Pine Valley (31 Oct 1918)

Mr. Keip of Columbus, Wis., visited his brother, Chas. He also looked over the country in view of purchasing a farm, should he find one to his liking.

Chas. Worden, who has been suffering with blood-poisoning in his hand, is recovering.

A bunch of Indians are on the banks of the Cunningham Creek and are engaged in cutting wood for George Bandelow.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plummer of Lynn visited at the Fred Eggerman home over Sunday.

Frank Hartung, Herman Schmidt and Walter Miller left last week to enter the service of Uncle Sam.
