North Pine Valley (17 Oct 1918)

Mrs. Louis Cornest and daughter, Eva, spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. T. Coughlin.

William Seelow and son Eddie went to camp at Lac du Flambeau.

August Bower and Sarah Wetzel spent Sunday with Emma Marg.

Mr. and Mrs. John Shuttie spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Marg.

Sherman Gress filled silo Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hrach spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Marg.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Lindsley and Mrs. Gotchling visited with Mr. and Mrs. T. Coughlin Thursday.

S. Gress called on T. Coughlin Sunday morning.

Henry Lindsley received a telegram telling him of the death of his brother, George Lindsley, of Spanish influenza in a military camp in Georgia. The body will be sent to his home at Menomonie this week. He was a fine young man and Henry’s youngest brother.
