Cordes, Harry (1885 – 14? Feb 1968)

Graveside services were held Sunday, Feb. 18, 1968, at 1:30 p.m., and funeral services were held Saturday, evening, Feb. 17 at 8:30 p.m. at Harder Funeral Home, Milwaukee, for Harry Cordes from Milwaukee, age 82, a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), conducted by Rev. Jim Christensen, pastor of Thorp Methodist Church.

He was laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery, Withee, Wis., beside his wife, Bessie Cordes, in the Behling family lot, who preceded him in death two years ago in February.

A daughter, Bernice Cordes, 4227 W. Bonney Pl., Milwaukee, Wis.; brothers of Mrs. Harry Cordes, Fred Behling of Milwaukee, Hilbert Behling of Pittsburgh, Penn., Mr. Morrie and Mrs. Morrie accompanied the body.

Friends Walter Bohn, Hugo Roes?, Florence Hilbo of Thorp, Mrs. Peter Mertens, Mrs. Zasoba and Mrs. Miller of Withee, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Tobola of Chippewa Falls attended the services.
