The West Side Homemakers held a “Show and Tell” meeting recently at the home of Mrs. Henry Vollrath, with every member participating.

The young adult Bible study group of Immanuel United Church met recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jerald Richmond. A meeting was held previously in the church to formulate the program for the centennial, which will be celebrated in July, 1974.

Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Kuester were their children, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Novell of Milwaukee and Rick Kuester of Bell Plain, Ia.

Mrs. Norman Liebzeit spent several days in Oshkosh with her daughter, Barbara. She was accompanied here by Mrs. Lydia Liebzeit of Appleton, who is visiting at the home of Mrs. Clara Liebzeit and other relatives.

Mrs. Lorraine Speich and her sister, Hazel, of Ripon, who spent a recent weekend with Mrs. Rose Ludwig, were guests of Mrs. Jake Speich.

Miss Karla Hoffman, a former teacher here, who now teaches in Waupun and Kenneth Grilber of Minneapolis, visited recently with Mrs. Alice Speich.

Mr. and Mrs. James Turnquist and children and her mother, Mrs. Glen Drew, left recently to visit for a few days in Milwaukee. Mrs. Drew stayed for a longer visit with her sons, Ronald and Dannie, and their families.

Robert Stewart of Stanley visited recently at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart; and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stewart and daughters, Shirley and Vicki of Middleton, spent a recent weekend with his parents.

Mr and Mrs. Robert Stewart entertained recently at dinner in celebration of the birthdays of their son, Keith, their daughter, Mrs. Donald Decker, and their grandson, Duane Decker. Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Donald Decker and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Stewart and family; Mr. and Mrs. Keith Stewart and family of Middleton, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart, Mrs. M. C. Thompson of Abbotsford; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Helding and grandson, Jason Straghan, of Mosinee, and Robert Stewart of Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Pearce of Riceville, Ia., were dinner guests recently of the Rev. and Mrs. Pacifico Camarin.

The Bible study group met recently at the home of Mrs. Wilbur Stewart.

Mrs. William Kuester was dismissed recently from a Marshfield hospital, where she was a surgical patient. She is recuperating at the home of her niece, Mrs. Erwin Toburen.

The Rev. and Mrs. Eugene Antrim are visiting their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hildebrandt and family in Iron Mountain, Mi.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath, were guests recently of the latter’s sister, Mrs. Harold Schultz, and family in Arcadia.

Recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart were Mr. and Mrs. William Morrison of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Jensen of Withee.

Mr. and Mrs. Verne Vollrath and family arrived recently from Janesville to spend the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart were recent guests of her sister Mrs. Veda Mertens, in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz and daughter, Patrice, attended the wedding of their niece, Lynn Kuznacic to Keith Strysick recently in Sheboygan.

Recent supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Catlin were Mrs. Leon Kuester and children, Delores and Billy; Loretta Kuester; Mrs. Mabel Bell and her aunt, Mrs. Maud Kleffman of Waukegan, Il.

Tony Rychnovsky and Leon Kuester returned recently from a hunting trip to Montana. Each got his deer.

Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Indgjer and Mrs. Cecil Strader of Eau Claire visited recently at the home of his sister, Mrs. Louise Ellingson.

Mr. and Mrs. Keith Strysick of Sheboygan came recently to visit her grandmother, Mrs. Olga Pakiz, at Memorial Hospital in Neillsville, and at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz.

The Wednesday afternoon contract bridge club met at the home of Mrs. Lawrence Cox.

Otto Kind, Sr., was dismissed recently from Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Cox spent a couple of days recently at the Hugh Cox home in Janesville.

Mr. and Mrs. Willard Zimmendorf and Mrs. Thomas Erickson visited Mr. Erickson, who is in a Marshfield Hospital recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Carteron and sons, Denis and John, were guests of Miss Judith Brux in Antigo Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Ternus and family of Stevens Point, and Miss Mary Jo Koschak of Wausau spent a recent weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ignace Koschak.

Mr. and Mrs. John Horton and daughters, Shannon and Erin, returned to Madison recently after a few days’ visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux.

Recent weekend guests of Mrs. Edwin Hagenbarth were her daughters, Mrs. Donald Sorenson and family of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Marvin Karlen and family of Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Bradmiller returned to Hammond, Ind., recently after spending the weekend here. Her grandmother, Mrs. Charlie Hare, returned here with them after spending two weeks at the Bradmiller home and with her daughter, Mrs. Alma Elmhorst, and children. A family reunion was held while she was there.

A Women’s Guild meeting was held in Zion United Church. Hostesses were Mrs. Phillip Vollrath and Mrs. Quinton Irvine. The program chairman was Miss Louise Keiner.

Mrs. Vincent Sowieja entertained the Forest Queen Royal Neighbors at her home recently.

The Women’s Guild met November 7 in Immanuel United Church. Mrs. Jerry Block and Mrs. Walter Decker were hostesses. Mrs. Henry Vollrath was in charge of the gathering of the Thank Offering boxes ceremony.

God Star parents were honored at a dinner Saturday, November 3, at 8 p.m. in the Legion Hall. The Rev. David Wenger gave the invocation.
