Sister M. Isidore and Gwen Anderson of Thorp accompanied Mrs. Ray Munson and Mary Anne to Stevens Point Friday. Sr. Isidore went there to attend a family reunion, and to help her brother celebrate his 50th wedding anniversary Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. S.M. Munson were dinner guests at the Ray Munson home on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kell were in Chicago June 12 and 13, where they took their daughter, Cheryl, to Glenview where she is employed.

Mrs. Roger Kell and sons, Brian and Bruce, are staying at the Norman Kell home for two weeks while Roger attends officer school in Madison.

Howard Harris celebrated his 95th birthday quietly at the home of his niece, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Brandt, Thursday, June 23. Mr. Harris is enjoying good health and does many little duties around the farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund Lentz and daughter of Cicero, Ill. are visiting relatives and friends here this week.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blunck of Union Grove visited the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Noah, and relatives and friends, Cindy and Daryl, who have been vacationing here, returned home with them.

Little Julie Buss of Wausau is visiting the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Fredericks, this week.

Rev. and Mrs. Eugene Knoepel and family of Sawyer, Mich. Are visiting the home of relatives and friends here this week.

Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel and son Terry were visiting in Athens Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Al Bower and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Niznik attended the Bower family reunion at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Bower in Milwaukee on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Frost of Milwaukee and two grandchildren, Debbie and Chris Williams, returned home Monday, after visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost and brother, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Frost, over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Karl Jensen attended the wedding of a niece in Fargo, N.D. over the weekend.

Mr. and Mrs. Larry Blunck and daughters, Julie and Paula, Minneapolis, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Blunck, enroute home from a vacation in the southern part of the state of Indiana.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Auberg and Mrs. Martin Paulsen attended the wedding of Rita Severson in Eau Claire Saturday afternoon.

Steven Heuer of Chicago was a weekend guest at the home of his mother. His sister Rhonda returned to Chicago with him Sunday.

Mrs. Adelle Jackson went to Tomah Friday, where she attended the funeral of her brother-in-law, Alvin Jackson, a former resident of this area.

Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel, terry and Debbie spent a few days at Rock Dam the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost returned home Tuesday from Des Moines, Ia., where they attended a Lutheran Special Interest conference at Grand View College over the weekend. They also visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fischer, in Minneapolis before returning home.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Poppe and family went to La Crosse to visit their daughter and son-in-law Monday, and also to get acquainted with their new granddaughter.

Guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Auberg for several days last week were Mrs. Ozzie Swoja and daughter Kim of Rockford, Ill., and Mrs. Agnes Dalbec and Sandy and Denise of Superior.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Park have sold their farm 4 1/2 miles north of Withee, in the town of Hixon, to Richard R. Gill of Chicago. The Parks, who have lived in the vicinity for about 50 years, purchased a home in Eau Claire at 2904 Eddy Lane.

Miss Sara Makkonen, a missionary from Japan, is spending three months here with her mother, Mrs. Tena Makkonen.

Wm. Montag, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Montag, was released from St. Joseph's Hospital Friday, where he has been receiving treatments since being involved in an automobile accident.

Mrs. Gerta Viatonis of Chicago spent the past week at the home of her brother-in-law and sisters, Mr. and Mrs. James Petersen, and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tomich.
