Gustafson, Nancy Eileen (18 JUN 1966)

Now on a honeymoon to the North Shore Drive are the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Michael W. Baldwin, whose wedding took place Saturday, June 18, 1966 at the First Congregational Church in Owen. Rev. Robert Goessling performed the nuptials when given in marriage by her father, John Prepeluh. Sheila Koplitz accompanied Bonnie Kraut, who rendered the selections "O Perfect Love" and "I Love you Truly."

Miss Nancy Eileen Gustafson of Lemont, Ill. is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Prepeluh of route 2, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.). The groom, Michael W. Baldwin, is the son of Mrs. Mae Baldwin of Duluth, Minn.

The bride chose a floor length gownof lace over taffeta with sequin trimmed scallped neckline on a fitted bodice. The full skirt was caught up in the front to reveal a wide lace flounce at the hemline. The lace Watteau train was attached at the shoulders with small bows. A bouffant illusion veil was secured to a crown of lace edged with pearl and accented with aurora borealis crystal.

Mrs. Jack Miller of Lemont, Ill. was matron of honor, with the two bridesmaids, Miss Faith M. Rubert of Maywood, Ill. and Mrs. Franklin Gustafson of Colby, Wis. The attendants wore aqua floor length formal with bateau necklines in the lace bodice. An empire waistline accented the sheath skirts of chiffon over taffeta, designed with Watteau panels and bows.

The flower girl was Rosalie Gustafson, and the ring bearer, Trent Miller.

Attending the groom was Terry Corbel of Chicago as best man, with groomsmen, Jack Miller of Lemont and Franklin Gustafson of Colby.

Ushers were Mannon Gustafson of Colby and Jim Prepeluh of Owen.

Following the wedding a reception was held in the church basement, with a dance that evening at the Colby Pavilion.

The bride is a 1958 graduate of the Owen-Withee High School and has been employed at Microwane Cavity Laboratories at Lemont, Ill. The groom graduated from the Lincoln Junior High School at Duluth, Minn. and is employed in Chicago at DeVry Technical Institute as an electronic technician.

The newlyweds will be at home at 8447 Ogden Av., Lyon, Ill.
