Behringer, Wilma Lois (28 MAY 1966)

Miss Wilma Lois Behringer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Behringer, route 1, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), was escorted into Trinity Lutheran Church, Greenwood, to be given in marriage by her father to Hareld Lester Heck, son of Mrs. Vera Heck, route 1, Greenwood, and the late Hareld Heck.

Rev. LeRoy Urman was the officiating clergyman, with Mrs. Grant Slone the soloist and Miss Bonnie Lenz the organist. Flowers graced both sides of the altar for the ceremony, which took place at 2 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 1966.

The bride wore a floor length white satin dress with lace top and front panel of lace. A small bow trimmed the waistline. A white pearl crown held her fingertip veil and her flowers were white and pink carnations.

The bridal aide, Miss Margie Hare, Minneapolis, Minn., the maid of honor, and Miss Paulette Steffen, Marshfield. The bridesmaids wore fomals of min green embroidered satin in floor length. They held floral arrangements.

LaVern Heck, Greenwood, served as best man; Benny Heck, Greenwood, as groomsman; and Tracy and Harvey Heck were ushers.

The wedding reception began at 8 o'clock in the evening at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood.

The bride, a 1965 graduate of Greenwood High School, has been employed in Minneapolis, Minn., by Totino's Fine Foods. Her husband, a 1963 graduate of Neillsville High School, is a farmer. Greenwood is the home of the newlyweds.
