Samantha Strehlow and Ryan Eckert were united in marriage on September 20 (2014) at Trinity Lutheran Church, Athens, with Rev. Jeff Lambrecht officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Lawrence and Dawn Strehlow, Hurley. The groom is the son of Anthony and Cheryl Eckert, Medford.

Karie Glander, Oostburg, the couple’s friend was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Stephanie Beyrer, Colfax, Courtney Hartwig, Athens, Vivian Chen, River Falls, Dani Mattson, Hurley, and Amber Becker, Harford.

Tryston Beyrer, Colfax, the groom’s friend, was best man. Groomsmen were Ben Tegen, Kennan, Eric Hartwig and Pat Steinke, Athens, Matt Feldmeirer, Huston, MN, and Derik Johnson, Dorchester.

Ushers were Nathan Eckert, Medford, Eric Voight, Pittsville, Travis Zakrzewski, Bancroft, and Gary Rieth.

The bride has a Bachelor of Science degree in field biology from UW-River Falls. She teaches middle school science at St. Joseph’s, Stratford.

The groom has a Bachelor of Science degree in crop and soil science from UW-River Falls. He is a salesman for Cropping Central, Edgar.
