Broeske, Larry (25 JUN 1951 - 13 MAY 2015)

Larry Broeske, 63, of Arkdale, formerly of Abbotsford, was welcomed into Heaven by his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 13, 2015. Cancer ravaged his body, but couldn't ravage his soul.

Larry was born at home on June 25, 1951 to Clyde and Carmen (Schultz) Broeske of Dorchester. He was a graduate of Abbotsford High School. Larry later received his Master's in Electricity and was also a Commercial Building Inspector working from dusk to dawn in his self-owned electrical business (Broeske Electric).

Larry loved design by creating and building his own gas operated go-cart, wood splitter, snowmobile and his home. He later worked for the WI Veteran's Home in Waupaca as their lead electrical engineer. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, sharing God's Word with other's and enjoying his lil' dog, Annie. He would have celebrated his 45th wedding anniversary this month.

Larry is survived by his high school sweetheart, Marilyn (Lange) of Arkdale, two incredibly loved children, Shane (Dolores) of West Richland, Washington who he was so proud to call 'son' remembering all the elk, moose, bear, deer hunts and fishing trips they shared together; Kelly (Mike) Wiedenbeck of Union Grove, WI; 'daddy's girl' who he loved sharing talks and advice with that only daddy's can; four amazingly fun grandchildren; Jared, Levi, Courtney and Justin; his mother, Carmen of Abbotsford; four sisters, Judee (Gary) Jicinsky of Marshfield, Susie (Dennis) Brost of Oak Creek, Gail (Lenis) Marcott of Abbotsford, Bryon (Tammey) of Dorchester and Dianne (Terry) Ludwig of Dorchester. Larry is further survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. We will truly miss you, Babe, but we know that one day, we will be together again where time has no end.

Larry is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Broeske and his grandparents, George and Emma Schultz and Elroy and Emma Broeske.

A Celebration of his life is planned for 2:00 Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Alliance Church in Curtiss with Pastor Swarr and Pastor Critchfield officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 until time of service.

The family wishes to thank Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home with Larry's arrangements, Pastor James Critchfield, Pastor Carl Swarr, Linda and their wonderful family for their lovely music.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford is entrusted with arrangements.
