Schutte, Vivian Agnes (Durst) (2 DEC 1920 - 29 APR 2015)

Vivian A. Schutte, 94, of Neillsville, WI died on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at the Stoney River Assisted Living in Marshfield, WI.

Vivian Agnes Durst was born on December 2, 1920 in Fairchild, WI the daughter of LeRoy and Jane (Lightfoot) Durst.

She graduated from Fairchild High School in 1938 and went on to Beauty School. She was united in marriage on Sept 28, 1940 to Henry Schutte.

Vivian worked at IGA for many years but found a great love in volunteering. She gave of her time to the HighGround, Hospital Auxiliary, Grey Ladies, and to her church, St. John's Evangelical Church where she served on their Alter Guild and Ladies Aid. Vivian loved to do crafts, quilting, going fishing up north and traveling the U.S. with her husband.

Vivian was very close to her family including her sons; Eugene (Joye) Schutte of White Bear Lake, MN and Dennis (Linda) Schutte of Marshfield, WI, three grandchildren; Nathan (Lindsey) Schutte of Woodbury, MN, Joshua (Andrea) Schutte of Burke, VA, and Nicholas (Heather) Schutte of Pensacola Beach, FL and three great grandchildren; Drew, Owen and Elise. She is also survived by a brother; Raymond Durst of Fairchild, and two sisters; Leone Scholze of Black River Falls and Ella Jean Scholze of Rudolph and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, brothers; Virgil, Neil, James, Ivan and sisters; Ethel, Eva, Dorothy and Betty.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 1, 2015 at the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Pastor Timothy Biebert will officiate. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Friday prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in Neillsville City Cemetery.

Honorary casket bearers are Don Schutte, Marvin Schutte, Darwin Durst, Bernard Sieg, Bob Durst, Ron Scholze. Casket bearers will be; Russell Marg, Ken Durst, Ed Kurasz and Jerry Scholze.
