Mr. and Mrs. Harold Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Nielsen and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rasmussen attended a family reunion on the Rasmussen family at Menomonie Sunday.

Harold Christensen attended a letter carriers convention in Balsam Lake Tuesday.

Misses Dianne and Donna Herrington and Miss Linda Thompson of Osseo students at Eau Claire University spent the weekend at the Harley Herrington home.

Charles and Theresa Dolson left Tuesday for Wausau after completing transactions of selling their Hi-Way Grocery in Withee. They will visit at the home of their daughter of a few days before continuing their trip to Arizona, where they will make their future home.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sanders of Sparta arrived on Sunday, moving into the living quarters in the back of the Hi-Way Grocery, having taken over the business.

Mary Lou Koppanen and Linda Jalling, Eau Claire, spent the weekend at the home of their parents.

The Garden Club met Thursday at the home of Mrs. John Slachetka.

Mrs. C.H. Olmstead of Long Beach, Calif. And Mrs. Ray Neitzke of Appleton visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Karl Jensen Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel and daughters, Sandy and Debbie, and Miss Joanne Little were supper guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mel Strombeck in Athens.

Peter Zasoba arrived home Wednesday from Chattanooga, Tenn., where the spent the past ten days.

About 60 ladies were present for the knitting class organized by Mrs. Scotch Copper at the Withee school Thursday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Heath of Tony visited the Harley Herrington home from Pulaski.

Miss Natalie Scherf underwent major surgery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield Wednesday.

Miss Anna Bundgaard returned home Sunday evening after spending a week at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Axel Bundgaard and family, in Northfield, Minn.

Mr. and Mrs. Thora Madsen, Minneapolis and Mrs. Anna Dickhaut of Chicago were guests at the home of Mrs. V.A. Hansen, Saturday.

Over the weekend Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tomich of Evanston, Ill. Visited at the home of his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tomich.

Dinner guests at the Sigurd Sorensen home Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Frost and Mr. and Mrs. Emil H. Hansen of Owen.

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Conrad and daughter, Kelly, of Milwaukee spent several days at the home of her grandmother, Mrs. Alva Mertens, and other relatives and friends.

Terry Wenzel returned to his school duties at Stout University, Menomonie, after a weekend visit with his mother, Mrs. Phyllis Wenzel and sisters, Sandy and Debbie.

Mrs. Anna Davidson and daughter Phyllis, and Mrs. Maxine Schultze of Appleton spent Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Funk and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Munson. Edmund and Theresa Funk, who have been visiting relatives and friends here for the past several weeks, returned home with them.

Miss Charlotte and Carol Engel of Green Bay visited the home of their parents over the weekend.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Smasel on Sept. 12, 1965 at Victory Memorial Hospital in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Tony Auberg of Eau Claire called on relatives and friends in the area Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. James Hansen of Minneapolis spent the weekend at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Jalling, and also called on other relatives and friends returning home Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Miller returned home Saturday evening after a month tour of northern U.S. and Alaska, where they visited the home of their son, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Miller and son at Anchorage, Alaska, and other places of interest.

Mr. and Mrs. Leon Bruchert visited Miss Natalie Scherf, a patient, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Saturday afternoon.

Last week the Arthur Jankee family moved into their new trailer home which they placed on a foundation on their farm. Since their farm home fire of last winter the family has been residing with his parents.
