Krohn, Kathleen Ann (Marriage - 22 September 1973)

Christ Lutheran Church, Marshfield, was the setting for the September 22 wedding of Miss Kathleen Ann Krohn and Jon E. James Krasselt, whose parents are Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Krohn, Rt. 3 Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. James Krasselt, Rt. 2 Spencer. The Rev. Traugotl Bradtke officiated at the 2 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Eagle’s Hall.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride approached the altar in a white empire-style gown of Chantilly lace over satin framed by a three tiered, cathedral-length mantilla. Her flowers were red roses with white carnations and pink rosebuds.

Honor attendant Susan Oelrich and bridesmaids Lois Podevels and Joanne Carlson, Appleton, appeared in Juliet-style, gold floral print gowns complimented by gold picture hats. They carried arrangements of yellow roses, white carnations and pink rosebuds.

David Yonker played the guitar and sang.

The bride was honored at two prenuptial showers. Hostesses were Sue Oelrich, Lois Podevels, Adele Krohn, Jean Jantz and Jodi Krasselt.

The newlyweds, who planned a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells, are both 1971 graduates of Spencer High School. She also attended Metropolitan business and medical technical school in Milwaukee is employed by a Spencer firm. He is employed as a cabinet maker. They will live at 506 LaSalle St. in Spencer.
